With the Directorate of Tribal Welfare, Government of Tamil Nadu, and the Centre for Social Justice and Equity, MSSW has engaged in the NGO empanelment process during October and November to identify the potential NGOs who work among the tribal communities across Tamil Nadu. There were 180 NGOs that applied to receive the project grants for the welfare of tribal communities in Tamil Nadu.41 organisations have been selected for empanelment. The empanelled NGOs are going to be implement livelihood projects for Tribal communities in Tamil Nadu.
